How to Insert/Replace the Filter Gently shake and tap the filter to loosen the stones inside. Remove the filter from the foil packaging. Soak the filter in a bowl of water for 20 minutes. Grip the tab on top and align with the pitcher reservoir. Push down the filter till it is tight in the pitcher. Fill the reservoir and allow to filter. Discard the water. Fill and discard the water 3 more times. The filter is ready to use and drink. **The Filter does NOT have to stay submerged in water. **The top of the pitcher SLIDES into place.
